Here at Blue Skies Bakery™
we
LOVE feeding people and
we
LOVE being able to give back

We believe in nurturing our community and the wider world, and in that vein we throw our support to local organizations that are nurturing local human communities & wild places.

For the past 10 years, we have been regular supporters of these wonderful organizations. We hope you will check out their good work!

Over the years, we have also donated food whenever and wherever we can to the following local food banks, school lunch programs, and community meal programs:

  • Columbia River Fishing Villages

  • Feed the Mass

  • FISH Food Bank

  • Gorge Outreach

  • Helping Hands Women’s Shelter

  • Mosier School Community Lunch Program

  • The Next Door Community Food Boxes

  • Trout Lake School Community Lunch Program

  • WAGAP Food Bank

And now in 2024, we are delighted to announce our Monthly Giving Program!

Each month, we will be sharing 1% of Blue Skies Bakery™ sales with a non-profit organization that is doing work that inspires us. We will be featuring their work on here and on our social media, so be sure to follow us to stay up to date!

April 2024:

April is Native Plant Month! What better way to celebrate than to support local Native Plants & Ecosystems through the Washington Native Plant Society.

Why native plants?  Native plants are the backbones of healthy food chains and ecosystems. Our local fauna, from pollinators and birds to larger animals, are dependent on native plants for food and shelter. Our forests thrive when growing with a diversity of native trees + understory.

We hope you might plant a native plant or two this spring, and delight in their beauty, their belonging, and in the little creatures who come to visit.
