Blue Skies Bakery is a family business owned and operated by husband-wife team Todd & Krissy Biernacki. Todd is the head baker, while Krissy runs the nuts and bolts of the business.
The bakery was born out of Todd's love for bread, and for bread baking. From his first foray into bread baking Todd found himself seduced by the simplicity and concurrent complexity of making bread. His skills as a chemical engineer and home builder (his former careers), form the perfect foundation for professional bread baking. Making great bread every day, loaf after loaf, is a challenge that Todd is happy to rise to every day.
Krissy comes to the business after several careers as well, most recently as a horticulturist and market gardener. She is enjoying the many facets of running the business: working alongside Todd, being part of a great team making high quality breads & granolas, interfacing with local chefs & shop owners, and putting good food into the community.
